Mental health is just as important as bodily health.
It’s been a rough week for me due to stress from my parents, and my body is suffering from it. My skin is breaking out from not drinking enough water, I’ve only worked out four times this past week, and it’s been raining a lot. I seriously need vitamin D like right now. Get on me, sunshine.
For the rest of the summer, these are things I must commit to:
- waking up at least half an hour earlier if it’s sunny to ensure a dose of vitamin D
- not eating at work. Literally nothing that is not a raw vegetable
- washing my face at least twice a day
- yoga at least twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays before I commute for classes all day)
- walking my dogs as often as possible
- no sugar added (I don’t add sugar to anything EVER, but this refers to any desserts I make as well)
- Raw Food Wednesdays.
