A.-Samad-Said by Hasnoon

In late May, KC and I were touring in Malaysia (Kelantan-Terengganu) on an unmarked trunk road. The last leg of the ride was incredible; the road cuts across part of Terengganu’s greatest treasure — a nature reserve of nothing but virgin rainforests for clicks around. The diminished evening light matched with low-lying fog made for a haunting, yet breathtaking experience.

Here’s one of our better photos — please forgive me, the road was bumpy.

Enjoy!

The other side of…gravity?

A little doodle I did for my buddies from Archuleta Avenue Malaysia because David Archuleta is coming to perform there again soon!

The Trio: Billie, Jennifer (JLo), and Jia Ling.

These three are incredible, and not just because they always order for me when we go out to eat.

JLo oversees the student house where we are staying. She is a joy to sit down and talk to, and will always impart words of wisdom about the culture here in Malaysia.

Jia Ling is a girl who gets things done. She’s the brain behind Mosaic, and an incredibly gifted artist, regarding design, video, and everything in between. Did I mention she has 6 siblings?

Billie, as you have already seen in a previous post is also incredibly awesome, just like Jia Ling and JLo. She’s from Eastern Malaysia and fun fact:  she was in Orlando with Campus Outreach all last summer. Crazy.
