I have been looking for Japanese Restaurants with conveyor belts for a long time. Last year, when we went to Singapore, there we saw a restaurant with such feature but our time didn’t permit us to dine there. But last April, when we went to Kuala Lumpur for a vacation, as we were walking, exploring the streets of the city, I saw Sushi King and I was so amused I even tripped out of excitement!

Conveyor belt sushi has always been a source of fascination for me. Imagine, an endless parade of sushi plates, just within your arm’s reach!*drools*

The attractive feature of Sushi King is the conveyor belt where various sushi plates are brought out which has different price per color.

Blue: RM 2.00

Beige: RM 3.00

Pink: RM 4.00

Red: RM 5.00

Purple: RM 6.00

It’s quite amusing to see the sushi varieties such as these:

Chuka Iidako (Seasoned Baby Octopus)

Chicken Cheese Roll (Deep fried chicken and cheese)

Chigiri Age (4pcs.) (Deep fried fish cake with vegetable)

Ebi Ten (Prawn Tenpura)

Salmon Skin Piri Piri (Deep fried salmon skin with spicy sauce)

Tenpura Soba / Udon (Japanese noodles, served with prawn and vegtable tenpura and spring onions)

Watermelon Sherbet

Sushi King is a great place for delicious yet a bit pricey sushi and there aren’t that many people when it isn’t their peak so one can totally maximize their sushi-all-you-want experience.

I will definitely visit this place again soon! But, I think they also have a branch here in the Philippines (I think it’s around Taguig).Huzzah for that!
