It was only fitting that the same day the World Health Organization called cell phone use “possibly carcinogenic to humans,” I was buying a new cell phone and making sure to find a plug-in head-set to go with it - and not a BlueTooth…just in case.
I was intrigued by the Samsung Evergreen that boasted 70-percent post-consumer recycled plastic and fewer hazardous materials than average cell phones. But, alas, reviews of the Evergreen warned of poor call quality, which is, ummm, kinda important.
Ended up going with the Samsung Strive which didn’t have the same eco-friendly features, but had better reviews. We’ll see how I like it.
