Diggin: Earndit.com

I signed up for Earndit.com a little over a year ago and was very skeptical at first. The website hooks up to your Nike+ or Garmin account and simply gives you a point for every minute that you spend doing physical activity. You can then spend those points on rewards that are provided by companies that also support the websites goal, which is to get people more active. To me it sounded too good to be true. A year and about 1,200 points later I can say it really is what it says it is and is a website that all athletes should be apart of.

I spent 500 points last week on a $50 coupon to Bonobos.com, a mens fashion website, and ordered three pairs of socks and a pair of flip flops (total came out to $49) and it’s currently being shipped to my house completely free of charge. Not a bad deal in my book.

Some other rewards that are offered are $150 to online jewelry stores (1000 points), 1-on-1 web chat with a dietitian (200 points) or even an entry for a free months of Oikos yogurt (which I have spend about 500 points on to try and win this month). There are plenty more rewards available and they change often. You also can earn trophies for knocking out milestones. It really is simple and fun.

That’s really all there is to it. I highly recommend it. It’s simply yet another benefit you can get from running, using the elliptical or riding your bike. Check it out at Earndit.com.
