Indefinite break has lasted until now. Thanks for the sweet little messages. I'm not convinced of the mechanics of blogging - I'm not sure that the things that are written in the spirit of peace and joy are thusly interpreted and that makes me upset. I think its a real shame, and I also think its expressive of the way I tend to feel tremendously uplifted by things and then quite shattered when I learn that people are not all they appear to be. It's because I always want people to be completely awesome and kind human beings so we can all contribute beautiful things to this world, and its idealism at its most idealist... I've been told that on more occasions than I care to count. But I cant help it, I believe in the power of forgiveness and I believe in redemption and I believe that art and fashion and wearing heaps of jewellery and sparkly things and friendship and music can actually change the world. Idealist, but honest.
So I've decided to keep using this blog to share the loveliest, or funniest things I know, and to hear and look at and be excited by those others choose to share. Starting with Lauren Treece, who is, in my opinion, the best and most imaginative photographer I've discovered in ages.
